I read an article about the female lucha libre fighters in Peru in a National Geographic and began to think about the popularity of wrestling in general.  As for why Lucha Libre instead of say the WWF, well I can't imagine an American Fighter wearing red velvet and fur.  My spanish is pretty rusty, but I think I got the language on the poster right.  It reads (going left to right and top to bottom) "The North Pole Presents, Free Fight (Lucha Libre) on December 25th at midnight.  Fight in the sky, after a years absence, star match, the Flying Santa VS the Red Nosed Devil.  Second Match, Special Fight, Team Reindeer VS Elf Power.  Event transmitted worldwide.-Jake
