AKAJake Spins Off four new websites!

AKAJake.com is spinning off four new websites: AKAJakeArt.com, AKAJakeGifts.com, AKAJakePrints.com and XmasDementiaCartoons.com.  Each of these ventures will focus on different areas for AKAJake.com.  The scheduled launch for each site is May 31, 2008.  There will be kick off sales and promotions.

May 31, 2008 -- "The way the original website was designed was no longer up to standards and was not going to be supported." Says Jake Beckman, artist and managing member of Art and Business Consulting LLC, which now runs AKAJake.com. "It was time to make a change.  Some time ago I realized that AKAJake.com needed to somehow focus the efforts of the organization and so it was decided to break the business down into different areas of specialization.  However, the final impetus for the change was one of necessity; the software we wrote our website in was no longer going to be supported.  AKAJake.com had no choice.  What better time to make the change than when the entire website is being overhauled."

AKAJake.com is now split into four areas of focus:  AKAJakeArt.com, which will focus on selling original art.  AKAJakeGifts.com will focus on licensing and selling merchandise based on Jake's images for use in cards, T-Shirts and other gifts.  AKAJakePrints.com will focus on making giclee prints on fine art media of some of the more popular images produced by Jake.  And finally XmasDementiaCartoons.com will be the home of Xmas Dementia, Jake Beckman's cartoon series.  "AKAJake.com is still the overarching common denominator, but the individual areas of focus can become more and more independent by design as time goes on," says Jake Beckman managing member Art & Business Consulting LLC. 

As a promotional event AKAJakeArt.com is kicking off a sales event with across the board price cuts listed for practically every piece of art. Prices listed are discounted 25-30%.

More promotional events for the other sites will be forthcoming at a later date.
