• Event Close February 2011 - #TwitterArtExhibit Moss, Norway -"DavidSandumArt, @Artythings, @dpringle, and @EthanCrankeArt discussed how fun it would be to exhibit something together. EthanCrankeArt suggested 140 artists (representing 140 characters), and they concluded it had to shown at a public place, as Twitter is open to anyone with an account. It all seemed so right, so current! Then @DavidSandumArt read an article in the local Norwegian paper, saying how the public library had gotten it's funding cut and wouldn't be able to order the children's books they needed; he decided this was the perfect venue for a twitter art project-a wall of art work at the library, where it's proceeds would go to charity/children's books. Each artist should send a postcard (symbolic of a tweet), with hand-painted original artwork. The postcards would then be posted on the wall and sold), and all the money would go to children's books. A few weeks later, they have gotten the go ahead from local government officials, and @DavidSandumArt to announced this event.
  
  @dejakester (Jake Beckman) found out about the project from @EthanCrankeArt. Of course Jake was struck by how perfect a venue this was for the current body of work, Binary Birds. Jake immediately sat down and created #twitterartexhibition and mailed it off to @DavidSandumArt the next day. So if all goes well the new miniature painting will arrive in Norway shortly and should be on display at the library in Moss; the show opens December 1, 2010.

• Event Closed - US Artists Biennial: September 16-September 30 New York NY USA - "The United States Artists Biennial is a group exhibition project that reunites the U.S participants from the Florence Biennial. The United States Biennial gathers together 50 artists whose work has been shown nationally, and internationally. Creating new global perspectives with their art, each artist will spotlight their work in the epicenter of the art world: New York City. The salon-style exhibition will features 50 artists from all over the world, now based in the United States in a unique and dynamic visual dialogue.

Come Experience the Art! - Jake's work Primary Colors has been accepted into the Juried Exhibit, Flights of Fancy, at Sundust Gallery at 48 West Main Street, Suite 100, Mesa, AZ USA. Sundust Gallery will host a Grand Opening from 6-9 PM on Friday April 9, 6-9 PM; Sundust Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The exhibit runs April 9, 2010 to May 9, 2010.
