Why all the rules regarding checks? Fake cashier checks & money orders are common, and banks will cash them, but then hold the person who cashes them responsible when the fake is discovered weeks later. Therefore authorization is required BEFORE AKAJakeGifts will accept payment by paper check.
Art & Business Consulting LLC DBA as AKAJakeGifts may accept Payment by Check or Money Order for merchandise purchased directly through AKAJakeGifts provided the following terms are met.
- The Check or Money Order must be made out to Jake Beckman. Why? Because the artist is going to the bank the check is drawn on to verify funds, cash it, and will need to present ID. Art & Business Consulting LLC DBA as AKAJakeGifts on behalf of the artist, will not accept checks made out to the wrong party.
- The Check or Money Order must be mailed to PO Box 97247 Phoenix AZ 85060 USA.
- The Check or Money Order must be in US dollars.
- The Check or Money Order must payable by a US bank having branches in the Phoenix Arizona USA metropolitan area. Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US and there are lots of banks here; the buyer should be able to find a bank meeting this criteria.
- There may be a long processing delay to verify that the Check or Money Order is authentic and the funds are available, before the transaction is completed.
- AKAJakeGifts will not accept multi-party checks

- AKAJakeGifts reserves the right to reject any transaction and/or payment.
- AKAJakeGifts reserves the right to refuse this service to anyone without cause.
