Search Me is an original acrylic painting on loose canvas. The work is 18 x 24 inches. The work is mounted in a 22-inch x 28-inch white mat, and mounted in a narrow corporate style black frame. Search Me, by Jake Beckman, is all about the nature of connecting on the world wide web. The first step is always a search to find the person or people you want information about, and want to interact with and of course it is a bit part of social media. In Search me a yellow canary flies through a cloud of blue bubbles representing different worlds, individuals, groups and other scraps of information in cyberspace, dragging a search box through the matrix.  The predominant colors are yellow and shades of blue.  In keeping with the Binary Birds theme the heavens are over laid with ASCII binary reading "Search Me." The Work is signed by the Artist, Jake, in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in paint; the FAR Tag No. 17523 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the work. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist.
