Me TV: Rail Bail is an original 12 inch x 12 inch x 3/4 inch
acrylic painting on a stretched gallery wrapped canvas; the edges are painted
black so that it can be hung without a frame. "Me TV: Rail Bail", by Jake
Beckman, lampoons You Tube. This work parodies the pratfalls and other stupid
human tricks that are frequently high in the ranks of popularity on You Tube. A
lizard in typical skateboarding garb attempts a street stunt, sliding down the
rail of a set of stairs, and "bails on the rail". The predominant colors are
shades of blue, green, yellow and black, with touches of gray, white and red.
Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner. On the back
of the work the title and date of creation are noted in paint; the
FAR Tag No. 17472 is placed in the
region behind the signature on the back of the canvas. The work is federally
copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the
artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR
otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the
artist.
