Binary Birds, by Jake Beckman - art that proudly projects you are member of the Social Media Tribe. Nobody online necessarily knows what a person is like in real life.  Just about everyone engages in a little puffery, who is to know if you shave 10 pounds or 10 years? 

Avatar is an original acrylic 18 inch x 23.5 inch painting on cold press 140 lb watercolor paper. The paper has been treated with gesso on both sides to enhance its durability. In "Avatar", by Jake Beckman, a yellow house finches sings. Behind him is a warm dark brown background with swirling yellow; it is dominated by the image of screaming raptor with a eye lit with starfire. The background is overlaid with binary, which reads, “Avatar.” The predominant colors are shades of warm brown, yellow, black and white. The Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in paint; the FAR Tag  No. 17490 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the canvas. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the artist.
