Experimental Art: Every once in a while a completely novel idea grabs me. In the Quality of Light triptych I was struck how light played on the bottles near my clerestory windows on a partly cloudy winter day. The Experimental art section is just that; different subjects, different techniques, different materials and other new ideas that I am kicking around, ideas that do not properly belong to some other group of my works. Some of these ideas grow up to become new series all their own.-Jake
