Just Bitching is an original mixed media painting on paper. The work is 12 x 8.5 inches. It is shown mounted in a 24 x 18 inch poster frame with two mats: black & white paper. Just Bitching, by Jake Beckman, is the portrait of a lion roaring, at what? Who knows? The sound and furry signifying nothing are further amplified by the windblown swirls of his mane and the grasslands that serve as the backdrop. The predominant colors are black, brown, tan and white with yellow green grass lands and my oh my look at that pink tongue. The Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in pencil; the FAR Tag No. 2709 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the work. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the artist.
