Primary Colors is an original 24 inch x 36 inch x 0.75
inch acrylic painting on a stretched gallery wrapped canvas. In "Primary
Colors", by Jake Beckman, a spray of yellow-backed blue ribbons form the primary
wing feathers of a scarlet macaw startled into flight, while red ribbons, yellow
ribbons, and white-backed light blue ribbons weave to form its body and tail
feathers. The predominant colors of the abstract parrot are shades of blue,
yellow and red, with a bit of white and light blue. The background is an
impression of the jungle canopy in shades of green. The Work is signed by the
Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner.
On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in pencil; the
FAR Tag No. 17475 is placed in the region
behind the signature on the back of the work. The work is federally copyrighted.
