Mother Night's Embrace is an original acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped
stretched canvas. The work is 24 x 24 x 0.75 inches. Mother Night's Embrace, by
Jake Beckman, represents the peaceful aspects of nightfall. Night is portrayed
both as a dragon with a cape of stars embracing the moon, and the moon as her
watchful eye in negative spaces of the painting. The colors are shades of blue,
black and white, with a hint of violet.
The Work is signed by the Artist, Jake, in the lower right hand corner. On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in pencil; the
FAR Tag No. 17519 is placed in the region
behind the signature on the back of the work. The swap image is of the work in a
room with a chair. The work is federally copyrighted.
All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images
are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any
form without the explicit written permission of the artist.
