Mother Night is an original acrylic 23.75 inch x 18 inch painting on cold press 140 lb watercolor paper. The paper has been treated with gesso on both sides to enhance its durability. In "Mother Night", by Jake Beckman, The moon rises as the sun sets, and mother night, portrayed as a dragon unfurls her wings to reveal the cosmos. The predominant colors are shades of blue, black, white, with a touch of violet. The Work is signed by the Artist "Jake" in the lower right hand corner.

 On the back of the work the title and date of creation are noted in pencil; the FAR Tag No. 17477 is placed in the region behind the signature on the back of the work. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the artist.
